Remote Senior BI Engineer

Description:

• The Senior BI Engineer will contribute to the development of the data warehouse, data models, and data pipelines using modern tech stack tools like Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Fivetran, and ThoughtSpot.
• They will collaborate with business and engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality data products.
• Leading data-related projects from requirements gathering to deployment, they will act as a subject matter expert on data infrastructure for continuous growth.
• The role involves carrying out ad-hoc analysis, building innovative dashboards and BI tools, and supporting team members through the PR process.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in roles like Business Intelligence Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or equivalent.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Data Modeling.
• Experience using dbt and familiarity with Python is a plus.
• Proficiency with at least one BI tool (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization techniques, and dashboard design.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling, a/b testing, and experimental design is a plus.
• Familiarity working within cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
