Remote Senior Big Data Engineer (4+ years of experience)

Description:

• Work with the Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) team to deliver data solutions in various areas such as Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Customer Experience, HR, Risk Management, and Global IT.
• Lead technical planning for data migration using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines with Azure Databricks.
• Develop reusable frameworks for large dataset ingestion.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and cleansing mechanisms.
• Utilize event-based/streaming technologies for real-time data processing.
• Provide technical support to the team during migration phases.
• Stay updated on cloud computing, data engineering, and analytics technologies to recommend best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Minimum of 4 years working with Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Source System Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with Azure components: Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Data Warehouse (DW), and Azure SQL.
• Proficient in Python for data engineering purposes.
• Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping.
• Familiarity with data visualization/exploration tools.
