Description:

• The Senior Blockchain Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust blockchain-based systems that power Paxful’s platform.
• This role requires deep expertise in blockchain technologies and hands-on experience with API integrations such as BitGo and Fireblocks.
• The developer will work with advanced blockchain solutions, including Solana Smart Contracts.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining blockchain-based services and wallet systems to support Paxful’s P2P marketplace.
• The role involves designing and implementing integrations with third-party providers and building and deploying smart contracts on platforms like Solana.
• The developer will optimize UTXO management, transaction processing, and on-chain activity for performance and cost efficiency.
• They will also develop tools for transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and blockchain analytics.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and deliver blockchain-focused features and improvements is essential.
• The developer will create and manage wallet solutions, including multi-signature wallets and Lightning Network integrations.
• Integrating blockchain technologies with Paxful’s backend services and APIs to enable seamless transactions is a key responsibility.
• Conducting security audits and implementing robust measures to protect funds and user data is required.
• The developer will debug and resolve blockchain-related issues to ensure uninterrupted platform availability.
• Staying updated on advancements in blockchain technology and proposing relevant improvements to the platform is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in blockchain development or related fields.
• Extensive experience with Bitcoin, UTXOs, multi-signature wallets, and Layer 2 solutions like Lightning Network is required.
• Proficiency in blockchain programming is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Go, or Rust for smart contract development is essential.
• Experience with API integrations for custodial and non-custodial wallets is required.
• Hands-on experience with BitGo, Fireblocks, or similar vendors is necessary.
• Proficiency with smart contract development and deployment is required.
• Candidates must have hands-on experience working with Solana Smart Contracts using Anchor or similar frameworks.
• A deep understanding of blockchain security best practices is essential.
• Familiarity with cryptographic techniques, secure wallet implementation, and transaction validation is required.
