Remote Senior Business Analyst - Insurance (Fully Remote)

Description:

• Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and develop appropriate analytical solutions.
• Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
• Provide recommendations to enhance and support business activities.
• Gather business requirements through various techniques like work sessions and interviews, analyze, and document complex business requirements and processes.
• Create intricate test case scenarios for testing and monitor the testing of business applications to ensure client requirements are met.
• Develop business requirements documents/user stories for necessary modifications.
• Understand systems and related data to derive actionable insights and demonstrate decision-making skills.
• Assist in estimating project-related tasks and updating process and procedural documentation.
• Develop a basic understanding of the technical development cycle of mobile applications or web portals.
• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases of the project through defect analysis and change maintenance.
• Perform any other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Hold a degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
• Previous experience in the insurance industry, preferably in Insurtech or health insurance.
• Health Insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is an advantage.
• Knowledge of business analysis concepts, Agile approach, and prioritizing work.
• Skills in facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
• Basic knowledge of generating process documentation, system functionality, data integration, and workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical writing skills and knowledge of other languages, like Chinese, are a plus.
• Must be currently based in the Philippines.
