Description:
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to develop and maintain dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders, and support a strategic approach to business intelligence reporting.
This role is hands-on and will focus on dashboard development, stakeholder engagement, and KPI analysis to ensure our reporting delivers consistent, actionable insights across the organization.
The ideal candidate has deep experience with BI tools, strong SQL skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
Experience with modern BI tools is essential, with a preference for candidates who have worked with multiple platforms and can adapt to evolving technologies.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality dashboards, working closely with department leaders to define key metrics, advocating for data-driven decision-making, collaborating with Data & Analytics leadership, designing and optimizing reports, writing efficient SQL queries, partnering with data engineers, identifying best practices, providing training and support to business users, and contributing to best practices in analytics delivery.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, dashboard development, and data visualization in a high-growth environment.
Expertise in BI tools, particularly Looker, is required, with experience in additional platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma being a plus.
Proficiency in SQL is necessary, including the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define reporting needs and develop dashboards that align with business goals is essential.
A strong understanding of business KPIs and how to structure reporting for different departments is required.
Exposure to AWS environments (S3, Redshift) and dbt is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to tell a story with data are necessary.
