Description:
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with department leaders to understand reporting needs and develop plans to empower stakeholders with necessary metrics and insights.
This role involves implementing and teaching stakeholders how to utilize their dashboards effectively.
The analyst will be dedicated to the Product team and will join a small, growing team.
Responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to identify key business problems and develop analytic solutions that drive growth and innovation.
The analyst will communicate complex analyses and results to a diverse range of business partners with varying technical expertise.
The role requires creating and maintaining operational dashboards in Tableau to track company performance over time and enable self-service tools for partners.
The analyst will develop efficient and scalable workflows and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
Translating business operations and processes into scalable data and reporting is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics (or a related role) is required.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience developing reports and dashboards for different audiences.
Fluency in SQL for a minimum of 4 years is necessary.
At least 2 years of experience creating and analyzing the results of A/B experiments is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience using a programming language (such as Python or R) is needed.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience supporting performance marketing functions, including building and maintaining marketing-specific models/analyses (like attribution, LTV, churn, etc.).
A minimum of 4 years of experience working in analytics/data science, preferably with experience at a startup, is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of hands-on technical analysis work with SQL, performing complex data transformations and manipulating large data sets.
At least 2 years of coding experience in analytical programming languages (Python, R, SAS, etc.) is necessary.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations are essential.
Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau/Looker/etc.) is required.
Strong communication skills are necessary, with the ability to tell a story with data and explain nuances to stakeholders.
Candidates should be able to think strategically while also enjoying hands-on data work.
A knack for asking the right questions and answering them with sound data and analysis is important.
Experience with dbt/git/aws is a plus.
