Description:

  • Accompany Health is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to build robust analytical pipelines and downstream reports that support data-driven products and operations.
  • The role involves using technical expertise to identify opportunities for improving critical outcomes and operational efficiencies, thereby driving a data-driven culture.
  • The engineer will report to the engineering lead and collaborate with product managers and operational/clinical leaders to address critical company challenges.
  • Responsibilities include working closely with clinical and business stakeholders to understand analytical needs, conducting data profiling on complex healthcare datasets, and communicating findings to diverse audiences.
  • The engineer will build insightful reports and interactive dashboards to assist Clinical and Operations teams in decision-making while ensuring data accuracy and quality.
  • The role also involves contributing to the improvement of tooling and processes for quicker and more accurate results, as well as implementing best practices for data management and reporting workflows.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • A solid foundation in data lake and data warehousing concepts is required.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Glue, S3, and Athena is necessary.
  • Proficiency in modern reporting tools (like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) for building dashboards and conducting deep-dive data analysis is essential.
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift is required.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role is required, along with a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with healthcare data, understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA), programming skills in Python or R, and familiarity with data pipeline management tools like Airflow.
