Remote Senior Business Intelligence Engineer - Financial Products

Description:

• The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Cash App will work with Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to analyze the large dataset and enable impactful business decisions.
• This role involves creating and optimizing data models for Cash App events, entities, and processes.
• Responsibilities include standardizing business and product metric definitions, building pipelines out of the data warehouse, and promoting data, analytics, and data model design best practices.
• The position will be part of the Financial Products team, collaborating with BI engineers, data scientists, machine learning practitioners, engineers, and product managers to empower users in managing their financial life.
• Technologies used and taught include SQL (MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery), Airflow, Prefect, Python, and Java.

Requirements:

• Background/knowledge in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, Stats, Physics, or related fields is required.
• 5+ years of industry experience building complex, scalable ETLs for various business and product use cases is necessary.
• An interest in advancing Cash App's vision of building products for economic empowerment is a key requirement.
