Description:
Shipium is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to work remotely and help drive business decisions through data analysis.
The role involves leading large-scale analytical projects to support strategic initiatives and uncover insights.
Responsibilities include developing tools and metrics for business reporting, collaborating with software engineering to build data pipelines, and optimizing business performance through experiments and actionable recommendations.
The candidate will create scalable, automated reports and dashboards, analyze key business metrics to identify trends, and ensure data integrity in reporting and analysis.
Advanced skills in SQL, ETL, and Data Warehouse solutions are required, along with knowledge of data visualization programs and statistical analysis.
Professionalism, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this position.
The role requires strong judgment, adaptability, and dependability.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing data using tools like Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL is required.
Strong experience with data visualization platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or Quicksight is necessary.
Candidates must have experience in data modeling, building ETL pipelines, and using SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools like R, SAS, or Matlab is essential.
The ability to interpret complex business data and communicate it in a simplified, actionable way is crucial.
