Teramind is seeking a Senior C++ Developer with strong Windows/Linux experience for a contract position.
The role involves implementing high-quality software security and data protection solutions.
Responsibilities include researching and suggesting the best ways to implement business requirements.
The developer will identify improvements in existing architecture and legacy code to continuously refine and evolve the product.
Enhancing software delivery and quality throughout the entire software development cycle is a key task.
The developer will manage any issues that arise and drive resolutions throughout the development process.
Collaboration with Support engineers to analyze and troubleshoot software problems reported is expected.
The position requires effective teamwork with other members and technical leads with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with C++11 or newer.
Client-server application development experience is required.
Proficiency with Git is essential.
A solid understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications is necessary.
Candidates should perform thorough unit testing of software components to prepare for integration into a larger system.
The ability to independently and proactively lead a feature through the entire development cycle while cooperating with different teams is required.
Knowledge of design patterns is necessary.
Candidates must be highly organized with precise attention to detail.
A desire to learn and generate ideas is important.
Good spoken and written English skills are required.
Nice to have: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, experience in Windows system development (using WinApi), low-level software development, drivers development, networking (TCP, UDP, HTTP), Boost, ClickHouse database, exposure to Golang or Rust, and understanding of AWS services.
