Remote Senior C++ Software Engineer, Data Engines

Description:

• The Senior C++ Software Engineer for Data Engines will work on Theseus, an accelerator-native data processing engine designed for composability.
• Responsibilities include building, optimizing, and maintaining the data execution framework, adding new features, enhancing speed and scalability, and contributing to core architectural components for Petabyte-scale operations.
• The role involves collaborating with Voltron Data development teams to achieve these objectives.

Requirements:

• Experience with data processing engines or frameworks is beneficial.
• Proficiency in distributed and multi-threaded systems is required.
• Knowledge of hardware resource management, including memory and thread pools, is essential.
• Familiarity with SQL and non-SQL systems and their computational abstractions is necessary.
• Strong development skills in modern C++ are a must.
• Experience in developing for various hardware types such as CPU and GPU is preferred.
