Remote Senior Civil Lead Engineer

Description:

• Marshalls Civils and Drainage is seeking a Senior Civil Lead Engineer to join their Design & Engineering team.
• The role involves leading and supporting a team of Design Engineers in providing technical guidance, verification on design calculations to BS EN standards, value engineering, and developing quality products.
• Responsibilities include meeting best practice processes, BSI & ISO audits, and Quality Assurance Management policies.
• The Senior Civil Lead Engineer will need to prioritize and plan projects, identify systems and technology improvements, and drive innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or a suitable alternative qualification.
• Substantial experience as a senior Civil/Structural Engineer.
• Working knowledge of Eurocode standards applicable to reinforced concrete.
• Experience in producing, checking, and verifying design calculations and manufacturing drawings.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD, MS Office.
• Customer-centric approach with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to support, influence, and motivate colleagues.
• Energetic with a clear ambition to progress within Marshalls.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in reinforced concrete designs.
• Experience in modular concrete construction.
• Proficiency in Tekla software.
• Department capacity planning skills.
• Experience in creating bills of materials.
