Remote Senior Civil Lead Engineer

Description:

• Marshalls Civils and Drainage is seeking a Senior Civil Lead Engineer to join their Design & Engineering team.
• The role involves leading and supporting a team of Design Engineers in providing technical guidance, verification on design calculations, and driving value engineering.
• Responsibilities include meeting best practice processes, BSI & ISO audits, and professional indemnity stipulations.
• The Senior Civil Lead Engineer will need to prioritize and plan projects, identify systems and technology improvements, and enhance existing processes.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
• Substantial experience as a senior Civil/Structural Engineer is necessary.
• Working knowledge of Eurocode standards for reinforced concrete is essential.
• Experience in producing, checking, and verifying design calculations and manufacturing drawings is a must.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD, MS Office, and a customer-centric approach is required.
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to support colleagues, and a clear ambition to progress within Marshalls are key requirements.
• Desirable skills include experience in reinforced concrete designs, modular concrete construction, Tekla, department capacity planning, and bill of material creation.
