Description:

The Senior Cloud and Recovery Engineer role is a senior/technical lead position responsible for troubleshooting and repairing Conversant Group’s managed security solutions, focusing on virtualization and disaster recovery.
This role reports to the Support Services Manager and is 100% remote.
Responsibilities include solving highly complex engineering challenges, acting as a liaison between the Infrastructure Team and the broader companywide practice group, participating in technical design and architectural workshops, creating documentation and best practices for deploying and configuring complex technical solutions, supporting the Implementation Services Team, and maintaining proficiency in Conversant Group’s Cloud and Recovery Solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience in managed services support engineering and/or architectural design and implementation services engineering.
Extensive experience with security products, implementing and supporting on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based VMware environments is required.
Significant experience in supporting and maintaining Zerto infrastructure is necessary.
A Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent work history is required.
Strong knowledge and understanding of storage concepts is essential.
Industry certifications in Zerto and VMware are highly desired.
Candidates should have the ability to design and manage VMware-based cloud infrastructure and Zerto for disaster recovery solutions.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, and Nutanix is preferred.
Candidates must be team-oriented, possess effective communication skills, and be able to manage competitive priorities.
