Remote Senior Cloud Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Cloud Engineer will primarily support organizations in migrating to Office 365 or upgrading existing Office 365 services.
• Responsibilities include technical implementation and support of Office 365 tenants, design and migration best practices, troubleshooting, mentoring peer engineers, and developing governance documentation and PowerShell scripts.
• The engineer will collaborate with IT and external workgroups for application integration, provide training on Office 365 solutions, and address production issues.
• Qualifications include experience in Office 365 setup, Azure/AWS migrations, Microsoft 365 suite, technical documentation, and training.
• Preferred qualifications involve Azure/AWS migrations, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Teams Voice, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Certifications like MS-101, MS-102, Mimecast Email Security, AZ-104, SC-300, and SC-400 are preferred.
• Education requirements include a college degree or equivalent work experience with expertise in Exchange, Windows servers, Active Directory, and project management.

Requirements:

• Experience in Office 365 setup, hardening, and configuration
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS migrations as IaaS or PaaS
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite and 3rd party migration tools
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Proficiency in training and mentoring technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange servers, and mail security platforms
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Flexibility to work after hours and remotely
