Description:

Loopio is seeking an experienced Senior-level Cloud Engineer to build and support all aspects of their platform infrastructure.
The role involves joining a team of talented Engineers and Architects to support software development and machine learning/data teams in delivering features to customers efficiently.
The infrastructure is continuously evolving, utilizing the latest Cloud technology including compute, serverless, database, caching, deployments, and security.
The position requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India, with working hours from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST.
Responsibilities include building, maintaining, scaling, and hardening AWS infrastructure, improving security posture, collaborating with InfoSec and Engineering teams, automating tasks, participating in strategic decisions, and mentoring others.
The role also involves project-based work such as software upgrades, automated monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a high-growth agile software development environment.
A focus on automation and reducing toil is essential.
Leadership skills, with the ability to express candor and curiosity, are required.
Candidates should be able to operate independently and collaborate effectively across Engineering teams.
Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route 53, VPCs) and Azure is necessary.
A strong understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is required.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog) and best practices for cloud-based managed applications is essential.
Experience with containerization technology (Docker, ECS, Fargate) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) is required.
Knowledge of centralized configuration management tools such as Chef and Ansible is necessary.
