Remote Senior Cloud Engineer

Description:

• Kora, a marketplace for payments, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to optimize their payment infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, collaborating with the Security team for secure infrastructure, and managing access control.
• Responsibilities include using observability tools for insights, creating deployment pipelines, automating processes for faster software releases, and improving software development workflows.
• The Senior Cloud Engineer will work on infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring best practices for software development.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Expertise in deploying and scaling applications on AWS and Azure with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and security.
• Proficiency in cloud-native technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools.
• Understanding of observability concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and a desire to enhance merchant experience using payment infrastructure.
