Description:

BriteCore is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to enhance their AWS cloud infrastructure and contribute to their innovative SaaS platform.
The role involves optimizing and securing cloud systems while collaborating with a talented team to ensure high performance and reliability.
Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure for secure and efficient operations, providing AWS Cloud Services expertise, and developing tooling to enhance workflows.
The engineer will implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, monitor cloud performance for high availability, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and create reusable GitHub actions modules.
The position is fully remote but candidates must be located in Argentina, Brazil, or Colombia, and it is a long-term Independent Contractor role.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with Linux and Python.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience operating an AWS Cloud DevOps platform for a B2B SaaS organization is necessary.
At least 2+ years of experience working at a scaling startup is required.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with the design, implementation, and support of containerized monolithic applications running on EC2 or similar platforms.
Experience with automation using a commercial off-the-shelf automation platform such as SaltProject, Ansible, or Chef for at least 2+ years is needed.
A deep understanding of network architecture on the AWS Cloud to design, implement, and support a highly available SaaS product is essential.
The ability to implement development, deployment, and monitoring workflows through automated frameworks is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
