Description:
Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Senior Cloud Engineer, where you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with various teams to streamline processes, automate tasks, and enhance our cloud-based systems.
Utilize your strong working knowledge of cloud architectures, primarily on AWS, including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC/Networking, Route53, CloudWatch, IAM, and Terraform/IaC.
Automate repeatable tasks using Terraform to enable the automation of deployment and scaling of resources, reducing manual intervention.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) configuration management to ensure consistency and stability across the cloud infrastructure.
Be proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management tools to optimize containerized applications and services.
Assist development teams with release issues, build automated release frameworks, and collaborate with squads to resolve release-related challenges.
Utilize your expertise in CI/CD tools and integration techniques to build automated pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions such as New Relic and understand cloud components for real-time monitoring and performance optimization.
Ensure compliance with industry standards by demonstrating expertise in securing cloud environments and adhering to AWS security practices.
Monitor alerts, troubleshoot issues, manage databases (SQL and NoSQL), and oversee server management while demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills.
Enhance operational efficiency through proficiency in scripting languages, cron jobs, AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and automation event patterns with Simple Notification Service (SNS).
Requirements:
You must have 8 years of IT experience, enabling all the standard methodologies of cloud-native development, including Kubernetes, CI/CD, Data Lake, Containers, Serverless, and Infrastructure as Code.
A hands-on working knowledge of standard AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPCs, Load balancing, Kubernetes, and cluster management is required.
You should have hands-on experience deploying AWS Cloud Formation scripts, writing Terraform, managing SSL Certificates, configuring WAF, deploying IAM user accounts, and managing cloud encryption keys.
The ability to work effectively in cross-team collaboration with Enterprise teams, Architecture, and Product Teams is essential, along with the capability to find and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
A highly self-motivated individual with attention to detail is necessary for this role.
