The company is seeking candidates with significant experience in Google Cloud to join their team.
The role involves eliminating obstacles, reducing risk, and accelerating timelines for customers transitioning to Google and seeking assistance with data and application modernization.
As a member of the Cloud Engineering team, you will work with innovative companies, leveraging Cloud as the key driver of their transformation.
You will be viewed as a trusted advisor, helping clients along their journey on Google Cloud.
The position covers a large spectrum of technology topics including infrastructure as code, application modernization through containerization, serverless platforms, CI/CD, cloud networking, and data analytics.
The core toolbox includes Google Cloud, the Hashicorp portfolio, Kubernetes, among others.
The company values objective thinking about client requirements and selecting the right tools and processes based on first principles reasoning.

Requirements:

You must have at least 3 years of experience working with a major public cloud platform, with a preference for Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices is required.
Excellent technical skills in at least one of the following areas: Linux system administration, networking (data center and cloud), or MySQL/other database administration.
Experience working with traditional data center environments and technologies such as VMware, physical servers, storage arrays, and networks/firewalls is necessary.
Experience migrating applications from a data center environment to a public cloud is preferred.
You should be able to write scripts and automation in at least one programming language.
Comfort with being on video in meetings, both internally and with clients, is essential.
Conversational proficiency in English is required.
