Description:

  • GameChanger is a remote-first tech company based in New York City, focused on enhancing youth sports experiences.
  • The Senior Cloud Engineer, ML Platform will lead the scaling of cloud-based machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV) systems.
  • This role involves moving from batch processing to real-time, high-throughput ML infrastructure supporting multi-model systems.
  • The position requires expertise in designing ML infrastructure and understanding the challenges of scaling ML models.
  • Responsibilities include architecting and scaling cloud-based infrastructure for ML workloads, designing model-serving infrastructure, and ensuring observability of model performance and system reliability.
  • Collaboration with ML/DevOps/Backend/Security Engineers is essential to integrate new tools and improve deployment speeds and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience, specifically in scaling ML/AI infrastructure in high-throughput, real-time environments.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required to automate cloud infrastructure for ML systems.
  • A deep knowledge of AWS services, including best practices for resiliency, scalability, and security, is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS is essential, focusing on real-world scalability challenges.
