A booming B2B SaaS company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst to join their team.
This position is crucial in the highly analytical operations team that focuses on customer success and product development.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for cloud optimization and a background in financial or business analytics.
Responsibilities include analyzing cloud usage and cost data to identify trends and areas for optimization.
The analyst will develop and maintain cloud financial models to predict future costs based on historical data and usage patterns.
Implementing best practices for FinOps processes and tools to enhance visibility and accountability in cloud spending is essential.
The role also involves creating and presenting reports and dashboards to management to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Computer Science is required.
Proven experience in cloud FinOps with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is necessary.
An expert-level understanding of discount instruments such as Reserved Instances and Savings Plans is required.
Proficiency in analytics and financial modeling/data analytics tools, including Excel, SQL, and BI tools, is essential.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen attention to detail, are mandatory.
