Description:
Gorilla Logic, a digital product engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the advancement of Terraform infrastructure on GCP.
Responsibilities include enhancing and managing a mature Terraform infrastructure, refining state management, upgrading CI/CD pipelines, enhancing test isolation, and developing custom solutions.
The role focuses on scalability, maintainability, readability, and reusability of network architecture on GCP.
The engineer will work on enhancing CI/CD pipelines, refining state management, and developing custom solutions to align with the cloud environment's complexity.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a BackEnd Developer with a good understanding of SOLID principles, DRY, modularity, and best practices.
At least 5 years of experience in roles like DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Cloud Developer.
Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments and deep understanding of state management.
Proven experience with cloud services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline construction using Cloud Build, Github Actions, or Tekton.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices, TCP/IP networking protocols, and security principles.
Proficiency in Golang, Git, traffic management strategies, and Google services like PSC and Load Balancers.
Excellent communication skills and time management proficiency.
