Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Senior Cloud Intelligence Analyst to join a high-impact intelligence team in the United States.
The role focuses on understanding, tracking, and analyzing cyber threats across cloud and SaaS environments.
Responsibilities include researching emerging threats across major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and identity services such as Okta and EntraID.
The analyst will analyze cloud telemetry and activity patterns to identify suspicious behavior and inform detection strategies.
Development and publication of intelligence reports and threat assessments based on TTPs, adversary behavior, and malware analysis are key tasks.
The role involves contributing to the creation and refinement of detection rules and response procedures based on identified threats.
The analyst will define and track new threat clusters, produce actionable intelligence, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaboration with the broader infosec community and customer engagement to support understanding of threat models and response actions is expected.
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the evolution of team tools, workflows, and methodologies is also part of the role.
Requirements:
Candidates must have deep knowledge of cloud security concepts and experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Proven expertise in cyber threat intelligence, adversary tracking, and open-source research is required.
Familiarity with detection tools, security platforms, and query languages like SQL, Splunk, or Elasticsearch is necessary.
The ability to identify and attribute threat activity, including analysis of malware families, actor behaviors, and attack patterns, is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to explain technical threats to a range of audiences.
Experience in roles such as Threat Intelligence, SOC, or DFIR is highly valuable.
A passion for cybersecurity, continuous learning, and collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment is expected.
