Description:

• The Senior Cloud Network Engineer will lead initiatives to ensure network reliability, security, and performance.
• Responsibilities include participating in network modernization planning, designing Naval Enterprise Networks, using cloud-based Arista networking solutions, and applying DevSecOps principles for secure network engineering configurations.
• The role involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with vendors, and selecting networking equipment aligned with customer objectives.

Requirements:

• Must hold a DoD 8570.01-M, IAT level 2 certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a network engineer, with a focus on cloud networking.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching, experience with Arista Cloud Vision solution, and familiarity with network management tools.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting next-generation security products, experience with cloud networking services, and in-depth understanding of network security principles.
• Palo Alto PCNSE certification preferred, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
