Description:
Accompany Health is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer for a 6-month contract position.
The role is remote and part of a mission-driven organization focused on providing high-quality care to low-income patients with complex needs.
As the first engineer on the infrastructure team, you will help build a scalable and reliable platform that millions depend on.
You will define the architecture and ensure that the technology approach meets both short-term agility needs and long-term scalability.
The position involves collaboration across various teams to simplify healthcare and execute technology choices.
Responsibilities include championing immutable containers, Infrastructure as Code, stateless applications, and software observability.
You will be responsible for application and infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring up-to-date security through automation.
The role also focuses on accelerating code velocity and improving engineering processes to enhance ship time.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
High level of expertise in AWS or GCP (Cloud architecture), Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, advanced networking concepts, security standards, Vault, and GitHub actions is necessary.
Current knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and end-to-end testing principles, tools, and techniques is required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data infrastructure, including pipelines, reports, and monitoring.
Familiarity with Aurora, Redis, Python, and Crossplane is advantageous.
A background in High-Trust and SOC2 Compliance is preferred.
Compliance with Accompany Health’s medical clearance requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, is mandatory.
