Description:

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on Enterprise Security best practices within Google Cloud deployments.
You will communicate effectively to help customers adopt Cloud securely and efficiently, applying Security best practices and Secure by Design principles.
In this Security Engineering role, you will actively participate in deploying Cloud solutions, either as code or using appropriate tooling, promoting DevSecOps and integrating Security guardrails into CICD pipelines.
When working in cross-functional Agile squads, you will be the Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advise on Security best practices, collaborating with Engineers from various Cloud disciplines.

Requirements:

Expert knowledge of Google Cloud security stack and related tooling.
Experience in implementing secure designs across multiple Cloud services and Architecting Cloud Security solutions.
Hands-on experience deploying security guardrails in the Cloud, preferably Google Cloud.
Proficiency in deploying security controls compliant with PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS, and CSA frameworks.
Understanding of AppSec principles, OWASP best practices, and their application to Cloud deployments and CICD pipelines.
Familiarity with Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security methodologies, and frameworks.
Ability to map on-prem controls to Cloud native alternatives and explain them to stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of Cloud IAM solutions and their application for Cloud security.
Strong understanding of Logging & Monitoring, SIEM integration for Cloud deployments.
Proficiency in automation and IaC (Terraform).
Significant experience in stakeholder management across multiple verticals, preferably in private and public sector organizations.
