Jobgether is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join a fast-growing, innovative security team in the United States.
The role involves designing and implementing advanced security measures to protect cloud-based systems and customer data while enabling scalable development practices.
Responsibilities include performing risk assessments, architectural design reviews, and threat modeling.
The engineer will build and enhance automated security testing frameworks and integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration with engineering teams to promote secure coding practices is essential.
The role also requires investigating and responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Developing and implementing real-time threat detection and monitoring strategies is a key accountability.
The engineer will contribute to security training and documentation across the organization.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, software engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages is required, with Scala being a plus.
A strong understanding of application security and OWASP Top 10 principles is necessary.
Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab and secure DevOps workflows is expected.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
Knowledge of Kubernetes security and infrastructure vulnerabilities is essential.
Candidates should have experience with SIEMs, SAST/DAST tools, and security automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset are important for this role.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $138,500 to $213,000.
