Description:
Caylent is seeking a talented Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join their Cloud Native Applications team.
The candidate will be responsible for developing applications and services using cloud native technologies for customers.
Responsibilities include participating in development activities, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
The engineer will deliver well-documented, tested, and production-ready code, troubleshoot issues, and mentor less-experienced developers.
The role involves utilizing expertise in AWS services, API development, and modern application architectures.
The position requires self-organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Requirements:
Proficiency in web technologies like HTML, CSS, and experience with frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or MVC .Net.
Experience with server-side scripting languages like Python, Node.js, PHP, or Ruby.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and object stores (S3).
Demonstrated experience in building RESTful services and API integrations.
Development experience on a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Understanding of modern application architectures like event-driven, message queues, and microservices.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies, self-organize, and work independently.
