• The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Cloud Specialist to join their team in Cape Town.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Responsibilities include leading M365 tenant-to-tenant migration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical guidance in Azure Cloud and cybersecurity.
• The candidate will conduct architectural reviews, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies for cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• The role requires managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously and collaborating with vendors to integrate new technologies.
• Documentation of architecture designs and deployment procedures is essential for effective knowledge transfer.
• The position may require providing 2nd and 3rd line support and complying with FCA regulations.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, or PMP.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Cloud Specialist, focusing on Azure Cloud, M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, and cybersecurity.
• Significant experience with network security products and techniques, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
• Expertise in TCP/IP routing protocols and common network services, including DNS, DHCP, and load-balancing techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud services and strong expertise in M365 applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, including identity and access management and threat detection.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell is a plus, and familiarity with DevOps principles is advantageous.
• A proactive and adaptable individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
