Description:
Manage connectivity between multiple Cloud providers including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Support Cloud and on-premise Kubernetes stacks.
Design and implement IT infrastructure.
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and support observability and alerting infrastructure.
Collaborate with a team of Cloud Operations Engineers to build and maintain secure and high-performance cloud infrastructure.
Work with internal Engineering Teams to support the deployment and monitoring of their products.
Automate monitoring of cloud infrastructure using tools like Open Telemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Deploy and provision new cloud infrastructure using automation tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, and Boto3 (Python).
Develop automated remediation for system faults to eliminate points of failure in cloud infrastructure.
Evaluate and make recommendations regarding stacks, tooling, and engineering best practices.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure is necessary.
Proficiency in Linux is required.
Familiarity with OpenStack is preferred.
A strong understanding of networking and the ability to diagnose network issues (BGP, IPsec, VXLAN, Geneve, 802.1Q, etc.) is essential.
Expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud-native technologies is required.
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.) and best practices is necessary.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible is required.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift) is essential.
Familiarity with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki ELK, Splunk, etc.) is preferred.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, and Rust is required.
Experience with microservices architecture is necessary.
Familiarity with serverless technologies is preferred.
Certifications in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
Knowledge of infrastructure security practices (e.g., IAM, security groups, etc.) is required.
