Description:

  • The Senior CMS Developer will be responsible for the technical configuration, development, maintenance, and optimization of the CMS platform to ensure effective content delivery and user experience.
  • The role involves configuring and maintaining the CMS platform to support content management and system stability.
  • The developer will create and manage user roles to ensure secure access across teams while maintaining system integrity and security.
  • The position requires applying and maintaining themes and structural updates to align with branding and design guidelines, ensuring accessibility and enhancing usability.
  • The developer will manage SSL certificates, apply security patches, and monitor for threats to ensure web security and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance with data protection laws and standards is essential to safeguard user data and maintain ethical content management practices.
  • The role includes utilizing tools like Google Analytics to track site performance, monitor user engagement, and assess content effectiveness for continuous improvements.
  • The developer will work with the Digital Content Manager and business stakeholders to scope and implement technical solutions that enhance site functionality and user experience.
  • Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing technical documentation, developing and configuring features, website enhancements, and integrations using best practice approaches.
  • The developer will liaise with vendors, partners, and third-party service providers for delivery and support.
  • Following appropriate internal processes and established industry standards for application coding, documentation, and code management is required.
  • The role involves providing application support for products and services as per SLAs and offering on-call or after-hours support as necessary.
  • Monitoring the performance and availability of systems to promptly identify and address potential issues is crucial for ensuring business continuity.
  • The developer will create and maintain support documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles to empower users and streamline support processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in application support and management is also part of the role.
  • Additional relevant duties may be assigned or requested by the Technical Lead.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience with .NET-based CMS platforms such as Xperience by Kentico, Optio, Umbraco, or Sitecore.
  • A strong background in .NET Core and C# development is required.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and cloud services, including App Services, Logic Apps, and B2C, is necessary.
  • Front-end knowledge in technologies such as React, HTML5, SCSS, and TypeScript is essential.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring is required.
  • Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption, is necessary for this role.
