Description:

The Senior C#/.Net Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-performance image processing system capable of processing terabytes of 3D images and raster images daily.
They will need to implement algorithms for efficient image processing and analysis, including image segmentation, feature extraction, and object recognition.
Developing tools and applications for visualizing and manipulating 3D images and point cloud data will be part of their responsibilities.
Optimizing processing speed and memory usage for maximum efficiency is crucial.
Implementing database management solutions for efficient storage and retrieval of image data is required.
Integration with embedded devices via gRPC protocol is also a key responsibility.
Collaboration with other team members, including microscope hardware engineers, to ensure seamless integration of the image processing system with the overall workflow is essential.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in C# programming language (.NET/.NET Core) is required.
Strong understanding of performance optimization, image processing algorithms, and techniques is necessary.
Experience with 3D image processing, including point cloud data, mesh generation, and rendering, is essential.
Familiarity with image file formats like TIFF, JPEG, and PNG is needed.
Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing is required.
Experience with SQL and large storage database management (MS SQL or PostgreSQL) is a must.
Familiarity with .NET libraries such as ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or Dapper is necessary.
Familiarity with gRPC protocol is required.
Nice to have: experience with image processing libraries like OpenCV, EmguCV, or ImageMagick.
Nice to have: experience with healthcare image processing in general, or Zeiss CZI in particular.
