Description:
The position is for a Senior Consultant specializing in ITIL/ITSM Network Security Operating Model Design.
This is a remote, contracted role aimed at implementing IT service management maturity practices within the network security team.
The consultant will assist in delivering a roadmap and other deliverables for an enhanced network security team operating model based on industry standards.
The role requires experience in large enterprises and expertise in ITIL and ITSM, along with strong IT Security and IT GRC architecture and control design skills.
The contract duration is 6 weeks.
Primary duties include working with enterprise teams to develop, align, and enhance an operational framework, which encompasses operational standards, roles and responsibilities, service menus, cost models, metric development, and a roadmap.
Responsibilities involve interviewing customer SMEs, analyzing current operating models, developing future state documentation, and creating workflows to enhance the network security operating model.
The consultant will identify a strategy for the mission/vision and develop a network security operating model roadmap that includes various management areas such as Service Catalog Management, Service Level Management, and Continuous Improvement.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with ITIL v4 and ITSM for end-to-end processes is required.
Hands-on experience in developing robust enterprise-level operationalization frameworks is necessary.
The candidate must have experience applying the ITIL framework to IT Security operations.
Familiarity with agile and product-based agile frameworks, including DevOps processes, is essential.
The ability to incorporate industry standards into the operationalization framework is required.
Experience in developing RACI models and Operations Service Menus is necessary.
The candidate should be able to develop cost models aligned to service menus and metrics aligned to SLAs/SLOs and KPIs.
Experience in designing continuous improvement feedback process controls and automating tasks in a demand intake capacity is required.
The candidate must have IT and/or IT Security process engineering experience and the ability to translate business objectives into implementation priorities.
Experience with ServiceNow for implementing ITSM processes for enterprise business functions is essential.
ITIL Certification is required.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
The candidate should be a collaborative team worker, flexible to accommodate different time zones, and possess project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, education, and work experience is required.
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred.
