Description:
Semperis is seeking a Senior Corporate Cyber Security Engineer who is dedicated to the dynamic field of cybersecurity.
The role requires over 5 years of proven experience in Cyber Security, securing cloud applications, infrastructure, and networks, with a strong focus on Azure and AWS environments.
Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security risks across the organization, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
The engineer will implement business-focused controls to safeguard Semperis cloud entities, accounts, and services, primarily hosted in Azure and AWS clouds.
The role involves designing and implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies to protect sensitive data and monitoring for insider threats.
Advising on secure architecture across infrastructure, applications, and operational technology is essential to ensure robust security.
The engineer will work directly with senior leaders to align the Security Operations strategy with business objectives and risk management frameworks.
Collaboration with the compliance team is necessary to maintain and audit security controls and ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks.
The role includes managing B2B and B2C identity scenarios and establishing cross-tenant access settings.
Developing and refining incident response plans and maintaining comprehensive security documentation are key responsibilities.
The engineer will collaborate with Semperis Security and Engineering teams to provide cloud controls training.
Requirements:
Candidates must have over 5 years of proven experience and proficiency in evaluating, deploying, and operationalizing tools such as CNAPP, IaC, SIEM, and SOC.
Azure-specific security knowledge is required, including Azure security center, policy and blueprints, and Azure Key Vault.
Knowledge of O365 compliance and security, including Entra ID governance and protection, is essential.
A strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies is necessary.
Candidates should have compliance and regulatory knowledge, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
A passion for automation and the ability to identify workflow improvements and scalable tools is required.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure automation and scripting in languages like Python and PowerShell is necessary.
Knowledge in evaluating, deploying, and operationalizing tools such as SOAR, XDR, UEBA, IAM, CSPM, and DSPM is required.
Experience with Azure DevOps Security, including secure CI/CD pipelines and security integration into the DevOps lifecycle, is essential.
