Description:
Semperis is seeking a Senior Corporate Cyber Security Engineer with a strong engineering and corporate security background.
The role requires over 5 years of proven experience in Cyber Security, particularly in securing cloud applications, infrastructure, and networks.
A strong focus on Azure and AWS environments is essential.
The engineer will ensure the adoption of SaaS and Cloud providers’ tools and infrastructure adheres to industry standards such as SOC Type 2, NIST, and HIPAA.
Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security risks, developing strategies to mitigate risks, and implementing business-focused controls to safeguard cloud entities.
The engineer will design and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and monitor for insider threats.
Advising on secure architecture for cloud infrastructure and applications is a key duty.
The role involves collaboration with senior leaders to align security operations with business objectives and risk management frameworks.
The engineer will work with the compliance team to maintain and audit security controls and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
Responsibilities also include managing identity scenarios, establishing cross-tenant access settings, and integrating threat intelligence into incident response plans.
The engineer will develop incident response plans, maintain security documentation, and provide cloud controls training.
Requirements:
Candidates must have over 5 years of proven experience in evaluating, deploying, and operationalizing tools such as CNAPP, IaC (ARM/BICEP and/or Terraform), SIEM (preferably MSFT Sentinel), and SOC.
Azure-specific security knowledge is required, including Azure security center, policy and blueprints, and Azure Key Vault integration.
Knowledge of O365 compliance and security, including Entra ID governance and endpoint protection, is necessary.
A strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies is essential.
Candidates should have compliance and regulatory knowledge, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
A passion for automation and the ability to identify workflow improvements and scalable tools is required.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure automation and scripting in languages like Python and PowerShell is necessary.
Knowledge in evaluating and operationalizing tools such as SOAR, XDR, UEBA, IAM, CSPM, and DSPM is required.
Experience with Azure DevOps Security, including secure CI/CD pipelines and security integration into the DevOps lifecycle, is essential.
