Description:
Sourcegraph is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer (Pre-sales) to help take their pre-sales organization to the next level.
The role involves working with leading technology organizations, gaining insights into how world-class organizations and developers build software at scale.
Responsibilities include setting up a fully configured sandbox instance, building relationships with internal teams, and joining customer calls to understand needs and deliver positive impact.
Within six months, the candidate will establish themselves as a thought leader, mentor teammates, and evangelize Sourcegraph.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solution Architecture.
They should have experience selling Enterprise software solutions and possess strong technical skills in back end infrastructure architecture and coding in languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go.
Strong communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes environments are required.
The candidate should be able to work independently, manage concurrent opportunities, and proactively make prioritization decisions.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solution Architecture.
Experience selling Enterprise software solutions and familiarity with Enterprise process selling motions.
Strong technical skills in back end infrastructure architecture and coding in languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go.
Ability to troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle and continuous integration/deployment concepts.
Ability to work independently, manage concurrent opportunities, and make prioritization decisions.
