phia is seeking a motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with a passion for protecting large enterprises from cyber threats.
The position involves working as part of a small cross-functional team to maintain a secure web presence.
Responsibilities include managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web-facing applications.
The role requires ensuring internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
The engineer will implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.
The position also involves deploying threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.
The engineer will work with auditors to ensure security compliance.
This is a remote job that requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a public trust.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree with at least 10+ years of professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education, or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree is required.
Candidates should have experience and education that would equal 1-3 years of relevant work experience with a record of accomplishment.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
Functional comprehension of web application architecture is required.
An understanding of PCI Security requirements is essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for this role.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain Public Trust (or higher) government clearance.
One or more certifications are required, such as CompTIA Net+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security +, CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer, CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker, or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
