Description:
Lead cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing, and documentation updates for government systems
Manage schedules for assessment interviews and ensure availability of subject matter experts
Identify and collect artifacts demonstrating security control implementation
Assist in defining scope of penetration testing and preparing Rules of Engagement
Review assessment findings, draft remediation recommendations, and track vulnerability remediation status
Prepare briefing materials and post-assessment documentation for authorizing officials
Update Risk Assessment Report and ensure all assessment-related documentation is updated in the repository
Validate system access accounts and remote access compliance
Recommend updates to system policies and procedures in response to security requirements changes
Research emerging threats and provide recommendations for managing them
Review system network configurations to ensure compliance with security requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in government or highly regulated environments
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent
Proficiency with cybersecurity tools like Splunk, Tenable, HBSS, ACAS, and Wireshark
Experience in dynamic and static code analysis using tools like Sonarqube or Prisma cloud
Strong understanding of government cybersecurity policies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
