Remote Senior Data Analyst

Description:

• Develop advanced analytics models and reports using SQL and PowerBI (with a preference for Tableau skills) to inform and drive business decisions.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to comprehend business challenges, devise analytical strategies, and communicate data insights effectively.
• Create, manage, and optimize data pipelines in Snowflake and DBT to ensure data integrity and accessibility for analytics purposes.
• Perform detailed analyses of business data (financial, sales, customer information) to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of business intelligence solutions, aligning them with business needs and user expectations.
• Provide training and support to business users on data analytics and visualization tools, empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence, adopting best practices to enhance our data capabilities continuously.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst role, with proficiency in SQL and PowerBI.
• Basic understanding of Python, Snowflake, and DBT, with eagerness to develop these skills further.
• Proven capability in data modeling, analysis, and visualization, preferably with expertise in Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage, analyze, and share extensive data sets accurately and effectively.
• Proficient in developing queries, writing reports, and presenting findings, capable of simplifying complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced or fluent English language skills, with the ability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, capable of working across different teams and disciplines.
• Nice-to-haves: Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role, demonstrating the ability to guide and mentor junior analysts.
