Remote Senior Data Analyst

Description:

• Articulate is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Data Team, focusing on structured data to address business challenges through statistical analysis and data visualization.
• The role involves translating business problems into quantitative questions and performing analysis using multiple data sources to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
• The candidate will design and develop analytical and visualization solutions using tools such as SQL, R, Python, Looker, and Mixpanel to support various analytics needs.
• The position emphasizes storytelling with data, requiring the analyst to synthesize insights into a narrative and deliver compelling presentations to cross-functional stakeholders.
• This role will particularly focus on Product Data and Product Analytics.
• The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline, standardize, optimize, and validate data-related processes, working closely with the Data Engineering team to define standards for data validation and integrity.
• The candidate will also work with the Data Science team to build data models for visualizing, analyzing, and predicting key trends.
• The role includes developing expertise in relevant data analysis and visualization tools, assisting internal stakeholders in utilizing data systems for decision-making, and providing training for new applications.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, statistics, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL is required.
• Experience with event data, such as Segment data, is necessary.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools like Mixpanel is essential.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools, particularly Looker, is required.
• Strong analytical skills are needed to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to assess data and provide specific insights and business recommendations through storytelling is crucial.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, creating ad-hoc reports, and designing scalable solutions for automation is necessary.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to foster collaborative relationships and support cross-functional teams across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A continuous improvement attitude and the ability to suggest and implement best practices are important.
• A team-first mindset with a scrappy mentality and a desire to learn continuously is expected.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is between $112,200 and $168,400, depending on various factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
