The Advanced Analytics team focuses on leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and unlock business value.
The Senior Data Analyst will lead complex analytical projects, define problem statements, formulate hypotheses, and execute rigorous analysis to uncover key trends and opportunities.
The role involves developing strategic insights and recommendations, collaborating with business partners, and designing advanced analytical models using statistical techniques and machine learning.
Data visualization is a key responsibility, requiring effective communication of findings through presentations and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight.
The analyst will also promote a data-driven culture within the organization by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in data analytics with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
Solid understanding of statistical methodologies, including statistical inference, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data.
Experience with data visualization tools, with proficiency in creating dashboards; experience with Amazon QuickSight is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to define problems, develop hypotheses, and interpret analytical results.
Business acumen to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical questions and solutions.
Fluency in English is required.
Bonus points for experience in the financial services or open banking industry and familiarity with programming languages relevant for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
