Description:

  • Greenlight is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Product Analytics team, focusing on complex analytical solutions.
  • The role involves supporting cross-functional business needs and driving better business decisions using data from various sources.
  • Responsibilities include mining internal consumer data, creating training, performing quality assurance, and ongoing monitoring of reports for accuracy.
  • The analyst will adapt and solve problems by making connections between seemingly unrelated data and communicating findings effectively.
  • The position requires bridging gaps between data and business by collaborating with cross-functional teams to create actionable insights.
  • The analyst will develop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools like Tableau, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
  • Statistical analysis will be built using tools such as Python or R, and existing reports and dashboards will be modified as needed.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist with strong analytical instincts.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL is required, along with advanced skills for extracting data from multiple sources for analysis and visualization.
  • Experience with enterprise data warehousing, preferably with Snowflake or other cloud-based solutions, is necessary, including familiarity with modeling and ETL/ELT best practices.
  • Excellent data visualization skills are required, preferably using Tableau, along with knowledge of best-in-class dashboarding techniques.
  • The candidate should have experience working cross-functionally with other teams and balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or another scripting language is essential, along with a strong understanding of applying statistical and data science concepts to inform business decisions.

  • The estimated base pay range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000 in NY, CA, WA, and $145,000 - $160,000 in CO.
