Description:
Dandy is transforming the dental industry by integrating and simplifying every function of dental practices through technology.
The company is seeking resourceful senior data analysts to address high-impact problems in procurement, fulfillment, and logistics (PFL).
The PFL team is responsible for setting ETAs for dentists, sourcing raw materials, and optimizing shipping to ensure timely product delivery.
In this cross-functional role, analysts will work autonomously to leverage data analysis for making recommendations that enhance Dandy's service reliability.
Responsibilities include developing insights to drive the PFL team, defining data language for KPIs and dashboards, facilitating rapid decision-making, utilizing data to solve problems, and mentoring other analysts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in logistics, product, or operations analytics or data science, preferably in a B2B setting.
A BA/BS in behavioral science with statistics skills or a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or natural sciences is required, along with customer empathy or equivalent experience.
Excellent SQL skills and experience in a scripting language such as Python or R are necessary.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively conveying results and driving change.
Candidates should demonstrate autonomy, ownership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and statistical skills.
Bonus points for experience with ETA updates at companies like Flexport, UPS, FedEx, Uber, Lyft, or Instacart, interest in early-stage companies, strong customer empathy for dentists, and experience in Looker, Hex, and DBT.

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $165,000 to $182,000, plus equity, with actual compensation based on various factors.
