Description:
MNTN is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Production Operations Monitoring team.
The role requires strong Ad Tech and AdOps experience, with a focus on SQL, big data, and advertising technology.
Responsibilities include conducting inventory and gap analysis of existing monitors, identifying coverage gaps in real-time analytics, and enhancing monitoring solutions.
The analyst will become an expert on MNTN platforms, databases, and data pipelines to ensure comprehensive end-to-end coverage.
Regular data analysis and insightful reporting to stakeholders are key tasks, along with delivering high-quality dashboards and analytics solutions.
The position involves experimenting and prototyping new reporting solutions to drive continuous improvement.
The analyst will investigate and debug data incidents, finding root causes and proposing effective resolutions.
Collaboration with Sales, Product, and external clients is essential to translate data findings into actionable product improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of data analytics experience, demonstrating a track record of delivering impactful data-driven insights.
A minimum of 2 years in MarTech or AdTech is required, with an understanding of ad buying, attribution, and analytics in large-scale advertising environments.
Hands-on AdOps experience is necessary, including monitoring performance metrics and optimizing advertising campaigns.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in a consultative environment, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Expertise in Tableau is required, with at least 2 years of experience creating dynamic dashboards and visualizations.
Familiarity with large datasets (1B+ records) and data warehousing concepts is essential, along with the ability to write scalable SQL queries.
Working knowledge of database definition languages and ETL processes is needed for dataset management.
Advanced Excel skills are required to supplement and validate BI dashboards.
A self-starter attitude and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments are essential.
Candidates must be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple priorities without losing sight of critical details.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to diagnose issues and determine actionable solutions are necessary.
