Description:

The Senior Data Analyst will analyze and interpret large amounts of data to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities include using advanced analytical and statistical methods to solve complex problems and analyze large data sets.
The analyst will develop business solutions and strategies based on data insights.
They will lead projects with defined outcomes and coordinate analytic activities across the organization.
The role involves building, interpreting, and sharing insights using dashboards (Looker), reports, and other tools.
Mentoring other team members is a key responsibility of this position.
The analyst will manage platform issues and work with a global team to ensure platform availability and alignment with agile sprint planning.
Presenting findings, results, and next steps to senior stakeholders is required.
A curiosity about data and the ability to build actionable insights through a deep knowledge of the business and data collected is essential.
The analyst will develop reporting and dashboards to answer and monitor business questions and KPIs.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as statistics or computer science, is required.
Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in a highly analytical role.
Proficiency in writing performant SQL to query relational databases is necessary.
Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fully-remote environment is required.
Familiarity with data modeling languages like R and Python is preferred.
Experience and passion for cleaning and transforming data into clear, easy-to-understand metrics and dashboards/visualizations (Looker, Tableau, etc.) is necessary.
Candidates should have excellent attention to detail and timelines.
