Remote Senior Data Analyst

Description:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights, identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical analysis techniques.
• Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Develop and apply statistical models and algorithms, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time series forecasting.
• Build predictive models and forecasts leveraging machine learning techniques.
• Explore and clean datasets to ensure data quality, identifying and addressing anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Implement tracking mechanisms to assess performance and impact of data analysis initiatives.
• Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to stakeholders based on data analysis findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear reports.
• Mentor junior data analysts and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis focusing on statistical analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib, and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Strong statistical analysis skills including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series forecasting.
• Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms using Python or R.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
