Description:
Trustly is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Advanced Analytics team, which focuses on leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and unlock business value.
The role involves leading complex analytical projects by defining problem statements, formulating hypotheses, and executing rigorous analysis to uncover key trends and opportunities across various business functions.
The analyst will develop strategic insights and recommendations, translating complex data findings into clear and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders and leadership.
Collaboration with business partners is essential to understand their strategic priorities and identify areas where analytics can provide significant impact.
The position requires designing and implementing advanced analytical models using statistical techniques, machine learning concepts, and data mining methodologies.
Data visualization is a key responsibility, requiring effective communication of analytical findings through presentations and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight.
The analyst will also drive data literacy and adoption within the organization by sharing knowledge and promoting the use of data in decision-making.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience in data analytics with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
A solid understanding of statistical methodologies is required, including experience with statistical inference, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL is necessary, with the ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
Experience with data visualization tools is essential, and proficiency in Amazon QuickSight is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to effectively convey complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are necessary to define problems, develop hypotheses, and interpret analytical results.
Candidates should possess business acumen to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical questions and solutions.
Fluency in English is required.
Bonus points for candidates with experience in the financial services or open banking industry and familiarity with programming languages relevant for data analysis, such as Python or R.
