Remote Senior Data Analyst

Description:

• IT Concepts is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support the VA-ESOM - End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States.
• The role involves integrating and optimizing IT hardware and software asset management, as well as logistics lifecycle processes.
• The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in data analysis, programming, and automation to identify data gaps and implement innovative solutions.
• Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise on data analysis related to IT hardware and software assets, participating in project teams for data integration systems, and assisting with programming for data integration through robotics process automation and other languages like JavaScript and Python.
• The Senior Data Analyst will prepare and present data reports and briefings, create standard and ad-hoc data analyses, and develop and maintain data quality and reliability.
• The position requires effective communication of findings using various visual formats and designing multi-user databases that meet agency requirements.
• Collaboration with other Contract Business Operations functions is essential, and the role requires tact and diplomacy in communication.
• This position can be performed remotely and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent is required; 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis related to IT hardware and software asset management and logistics is required, including experience with ServiceNow, data extraction, and querying programs such as SQL.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) is necessary.
• Experience in creating reports, briefings, and recommendations enriched by data analysis is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to present technical and non-technical information clearly to various audiences.
• Candidates must be able to follow policies and procedures and positively resolve negative situations.
• Preferred skills include experience supporting a federal client.
• Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance and must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
