Beam is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about data analysis and storytelling, and can partner with both business and technical teams.

A background in accounting or finance is preferred, with a focus on maturing data structures and dashboarding.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics is required.
A BA/BS degree in a quantitatively focused discipline is necessary; a background in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
Experience in writing complex SQL queries is essential.
Advanced skills in Excel are required.
Experience in building data visualizations using BI tools like Looker is necessary.
The candidate must possess exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with strong client-facing data presentation abilities.
An analytical, rigorous, and creative approach to problem-solving is required.
Experience with data modeling concepts, DBT, Git, predictive analysis, statistical methods, and programming languages like R or Python is a plus.
Prior experience in the insurance industry is also a plus.
